Project 3-16
In this introductory video, we begin the Christ is Coming series noting that much is going on in the world and the Church today. It leaves us many questions. One of the problems is regarding "signs" that people believe are going on regarding the Parousia, Second Coming, of Jesus Christ. As such the problems include as one of the signs the falsehoods that have moved into the visible Church- lies from the dragon- and the increasing apostasy.
To begin for a right understanding of Revelation, as a starter video, we begin with a basic essential for a right hermeneutic (method of interpretation) of this book. The 3-16 Project in part deals with that, bringing the truth to the Church and the world in these times in which we live. For that hermeneutic, a proper understanding as such is associated with a proper understanding of the Word- Law and Gospel rightly balanced and divided and applied, and there from a right understanding of the Gospel (The Euangelion), that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone apart from any works of the law. One of the central elements thus so overlooked as a key for this book, the Revelation of Jesus Christ, is "The Lamb."
Thus from this standpoint, The Lamb, we have the gift of this book in opening intent for our faith and comfort amidst suffering, that The Son of Man who is coming again is the One who is in control and is also The Lamb. The central core of redemptive victory he achieved for us is ours through him, for as he said, "It is finnished!"
Yes, there are other elements involved but flowing from this understanding so necessary for us of this message from Christ Jesus of the victory and the glory to come. From this point we will be adding more shortly including a direct look at events from his Ascension, to what is going on in the world and the Church at this moment, and what to watch out for.
